What this website collects, why, and what happens to it.
This policy explains how St. Michael English School handles information submitted through this website. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
What we collect
We collect only what you type into an enquiry form: your name, phone number, and — if you choose to give them — your email address, the student’s name, the class you are asking about, and your message. Nothing is required beyond your name, phone number and message.
We also store a one-way cryptographic hash of the network address the enquiry came from. This lets us detect abuse of the forms. It cannot be reversed into an address, and it is not used to identify or track you.
What we do not collect
- We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics unless the school has explicitly configured them. At the time of writing, none are configured.
- We do not build profiles of visitors.
- We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone.
- We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this website.
Why we hold it
Solely to respond to your enquiry. If you ask about admission, a member of the school will use your phone number or email address to contact you about it. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Cookies
The public website sets no cookies. If you sign in to the administration area, a single session cookie is set so the system knows you are signed in; it is removed when you sign out.
When you submit an enquiry, a confirmation may be sent to the email address you provided, and a notification is sent to the school. These are sent through a third-party email provider on the school’s behalf.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained by the school for as long as they are useful for admissions and correspondence, and are deleted once they are not. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your requests
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Contact the school and we will act on it.
